Robert W. Crandall is a Partner and founding member of Resolution Economics LLC. He has an M.B.A. from Loyola Marymount University and a B.A. in History from the University of Southern California. Prior to the formation of Resolution Economics, Mr. Crandall was with the Dispute Consulting Group at Deloitte & Touche, the Economics & Litigation Services Group at Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser, and the Dispute Analysis & Corporate Recovery Group at Price Waterhouse.
EXPERTISE
Mr. Crandall provides litigation consulting services and expert witness testimony related to employment disputes, with a focus on wage and hour class action matters and commercial disputes. He has consulted on numerous such matters, providing services related to both class certification and merits phases, as well as in mediation. His work in the wage and hours area often involves creating and analyzing large databases, performing economic, statistical, and financial analyses, and designing, implementing, and analyzing surveys, observation studies, and time-in-motion studies. Mr. Crandall is also highly experienced in estimating economic damages for mediation and/or trial in class action, multi-plaintiff, and single plaintiff matters.
Mr. Crandall also provides consulting services including: wage and hour audits, pay equity studies, compensation studies, statistical analyses related to of reductions in force ("RIFs") and other discrimination issues, labor model analysis, and general human resources consulting. Also, he provides general business consulting services related to business strategy, operations, and business valuations.
